Hello Ladies,
First off I would like to welcome all of you back to another season of Haldimand Huskies Basketball. We will be starting the league a little early this year in order to get everyone registered before January.
Anyone interested is invited to come out this Wednesday, December 10, from 8:00- 10:00pm to McKinnon Park Gymnasium where the Ladies league is currently playing. Depending on numbers, we could be joining the two leagues together, thereby ensuring a more quality programme for all.
Registration is a bit different this year. The fee has been lowered to $50.00, and a Haldimand Huskies jersey will be provided.

High School Girls Registration
As your High School season is winding down, we at the Haldimand Huskies are swinging into high gear. All of our leagues are up and running with the exception of the High School Girls.
Our High School Girls program begins on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, from 8:00-9:00 pm. Registration fees are $50 for our 10 week season. Included in this price is a blue and white reversible Huskies jersey. A new addition to the coordinating staff this year is Coach Tammy Harley. Many of you may know Coach Tammy as the McKinnon Park Junior Girls basketball coach. She will be a driving force in our program this year.
Any interest athletes are asked to please contact Vicki Holdsworth @ 905 765 3432, by email vickiholdsworth@hotmail.com, for registration details, or drop by the gym Monday's, 7-8:30 pm, Wednesday's, 8-10 pm or Saturday's, 9:30-11:45 am, as I will be available on those days to register athletes.

Attention Boys League Players and Families
Commencing this week (Saturday Nov 1) we are reverting back to our original time schedule. This means that the Jr. Boys start at 9:30 and end at 11:30. The Sr. Boys will start at 11:45 and end at 1:45.
As a gentle reminder, it is very important that all families and players continually check our website for important news and information. As a courtesy to our basketball community, it would be very much appreciated if you know of families that have players in the boys leagues to double check with them to see if they are doing as you do - continually checking our website. Your help is very much appreciated!

Accidents and Injuries do happen
To better prepare for assisting players, families and coaches who attend our events, the Haldimand Huskies Leadership through a program offered by the Canadian Red Cross are being certified at a level of CPR-C and First Aid.

High School Boys Teams
***There will be a high school boys league every Wednesday night at Cayuga secondary school from 7-9:30. The cost is $50 for the season and each player will receive a reversible jersey. Coordinators are Coach Eugene & Coach Wayne. Please register on September 16th or 17th at McKinnon Park Secondary from 6:30-8pm***

Early Bird Registration
Great Start - Great Turnout
Kick off for the 2008/09 seasom
The early bird registration was a great success. This year nearly 3 times as many players as last year have taken the opportunity to sign up early. All the activity kept the League's Leadership Team hopping.
